It is hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of the school year. As a mother, it seems like I am on constant autopilot; packing lunches, making sure homework is completed, cleaning house, and making sure the laundry is washed and folded, all before doing my favorite daily task, the morning rush to drop off my daughters before the bell rings. I’m sure many of you can relate. It is easy to get consumed by the madness of our daily schedules, that sometimes we fail to recognize all of God’s blessings. The food on our table, a roof over our heads, the hugs from our kids, a car we can rush to school in and most importantly, another day of life. So, as Mother’s Day approaches, I can’t help but feel thankful that my daughters are growing up in the Lord and learning about Him and His love. One of the many important roles as a mother, and as your child’s librarian, is making sure your children are nourishing their minds with wholesome literature. That’s why Sonrise has partnered up with I:55 Book Fair. I:55 Book Fair is a Christian company that preselects books that are great for everyone in the family. This summer, I encourage all of us to stop and enjoy the simple, yet important things of life. Such as, the small moments with our children, going on walks, catching a sunset, or by snuggling up and reading a book from our I:55 Book Fair. Thanks to all you moms, for all the hard work you’ve done and continue to selflessly do. Happy Mother’s Day!
