MEET OUR HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL COACH
We are thrilled to announce that Bobby Merveille as the head coach! He is Sonrise alum, a student favorite, has a love for the Lord and a passion for discipling youth through the game of basketball. We are excited for him to lead and build our high school basketball program, and we know he will make a lasting impact on our students both on and off the court!

Over fifty years ago, a small group of parents met together to share a vision: a dream of sending their children to an excellent school that would uphold the Christian values and beliefs that they held so dear. Today, Sonrise serves more than 500 students annually, celebrates the lives of over 3,000 alumni, and is fully accredited. It has earned the reputation of being a place of excellence as graduates continue to excel in high school, college, and in life.

SCHS is 100% accredited through both ACSI and WASC. We will begin with just 9th grade and add one grade level each year. SCHS will provide quality education for students regardless of the college track they plan to take, which includes both Dual Enrollment and advanced classes in the future to earn college credit.
The small and intimate school setting will be our strength and will allow us to instill in our students a biblical world-view to prepare them for adulthood. Our Christ-centered focus is to disciple, mentor and train our students to take their faith to the next level and go out and be impactful in whatever field they choose.
