GRTS

Dear Sonrise Families,

This week we welcomed the first day of autumn, my favorite season for so many reasons! I look forward to cooler weather, the beautiful leaves changing colors, apple picking in Oak Glen, visiting the pumpkin patch, wearing cozy sweaters, and eating delicious comforting meals with family and friends.

As the seasons change from summer to fall, so do our daily routines. We leave behind the long, hot days of summer spent at the beach and settle back into the routine of early school mornings, homework, and fall sports. For many, it’s a season that feels familiar because we thrive on schedules. But for others, this season may bring new changes that feel harder to adjust to.

What we need to know about seasons is that no matter what they may bring, it’s only for some time. Even when our lives and routines shift, the most important thing in all of this to remember is that God never changes. Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." When routines feel uncertain, we can take comfort in knowing that God is always the same, whether we’re in a season of uncertainty or one of familiarity. It's easy to turn to God during the difficult seasons of life as we seek His guidance, but we must also remember to praise Him in the peaceful, familiar routines as well.

My hope for you this fall season is that you’ll take time to enjoy the beauty of autumn, enjoy delicious food with family and friends knowing our God remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Love,

Mrs. Romo
