prayer

I pray you all had a wonderful Easter celebrating the victory of our Lord and Savior over death! As we head into our last full month of school, I pray that our eyes, hearts, and minds are fixated on the One who will sustain us and carry us through whatever lies ahead.

ā€œGod loves you, gave Himself for you, and longs for you to live in the light of His presence.ā€

As we approach this week and prepare to celebrate National Day of Prayer, we are reminded of the incredible privilege we have to bring our hearts, our hopes, and our concerns before God in prayer. And friends, what a privilege that is! So guard yourself with the armor of God, to stand strong against the enemy and all of his lies. Stand firm to pray in the Spirit, allowing God’s desires to become our own, pray continually, and lastly, pray for the needs of all the Lord’s people. God never intended us to carry the weight of the world on our own shoulders, to heal every hurt, or to solve every problem. But He did call upon us to intercede for His people.

May you be reminded that prayer is not just a moment, but a continuous conversation with the One who listens, understands, and responds with love and faithfulness. As we step into this week of prayer, let us remember that prayer is not just an activity, it’s a lifeline, a way to connect with the One who loves us most. Let’s come together in faith and expectancy, knowing that God’s heart is always open to our prayers.

ā€œDo not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.ā€ — Philippians 4:6-7
