2Timonthy

After a month of hard work, the fruits of your labors are evident for the 2024 Fun Run Fundraiser. As we have surpassed our goal, it goes without saying that the goodness and faithfulness of God is upon our school. I am so grateful to teach in an environment where all aspects turn to God and where even in our giving, He can receive the glory and praise. As the students geared up for the 3K run, I couldn’t help but think about 2 Timothy 4:6-8 which states “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return.” Seeing the students run the race and cross the finish line with a huge smiles on their faces was a spiritual reminder to always do our best, never give up, and keep running. Some of our races may be long and drawn out with many ups and downs. One thing I can guarantee is that every step of the way God is present and setting a path before us. Despite the blood, sweat, and tears that are poured into our own individual races, the most encouraging aspect is crossing the line and receiving our heavenly rewards. Above all else, the greatest gift of all is having a loving and gracious Savior to welcome us with open arms at the finish line. I pray that no matter what difficulties accompany your race, you always remain in His steadfast love as you journey through to the finish line.

Love,
